I'm glad someone's looking at them!

Right now only 200 14er page photos are flagged to be included in the random home page display but I'll try to select more.

A nice pano of Sneffels and Friends jumped in the mix a bit ago. That's a nice one!

I brought this map back and it can be found in the site pull-down menu, labeled "14er Map (Basic)". Now it ties in your peak checklist if you have one.

My guessing game is a bit off on some of the 14er pix that come up on the homepage. I should get out more. But in the mean time, will there be an identifier tag placed in the corners of the photos, similar to what's on the default homepage pans/etc?
I know I can click on the photo to find out, but one of your id tags are nice for quick/I want to know now! kind of satisfaction.

And now the following options are available on home page "Display Settings"

National Weather Service
CDOT Road Conditions Map

I would only recommend embedding one of these in your 14ers.com home page if you have a fairly large computer screen.

Again, to make one of these options the default on your 14ers.com home page:
Click the ImageDisplay Settings link on the home page (top right when logged in) and change the option on the display settings page...

I like the new pano on top of the page behind the logo. Looks good! And I like how it changes from an Elk pano (on homepage) to a Chi-Basin group view (a view of Eolus) while on the forum index page. Little viewing tweaks like this are nice!

I agree, the new header looks very sharp.

Definitely looks great! Love it. :-D I like that a picture of Eolus is taunting me.
"Mountains seem to answer an increasing imaginative need in the West. More and more people are discovering a desire for them, and a powerful solace in them. At bottom, mountains, like all wildernesses, challenge our complacent conviction - so easy to lapse into - that the world has been made for humans by humans. Most of us exist for most of the time in worlds which are humanly arranged, themed and controlled. One forgets that there are environments which do not respond to the flick of a switch or the twist of a dial, and which have their own rhythms and orders of existence. Mountains correct this amnesia. By speaking of greater forces than we can possibly invoke, and by confronting us with greater spans of time than we can possibly envisage, mountains refute our excessive trust in the man-made. They pose profound questions about our durability and the importance of our schemes. They induce, I suppose, a modesty in us."

Hey Bill!
I like all the different home page image options currently offered. One option that has changed that I miss is the panos without names. Any chance you could add this additional option (like 13ers.com has)... I like to quiz myself. Thanks for all you do for us here!
I'm horrible with names...
But will never forget a mountain's face!
