I notice last post on trailhead for Grays was 12/14. Any body been up there recently that can give me a report of how far we can drive up the road? Will snowshoes be needed beyond? How much new snow did they get. thanks. If possible please reply to lindajagger@yahoo.com, not sure I will be able to get on the site before Sat. thanks all.

I went up last Thursday (12/20), and we got about halfway up the road. Snowshoes are definitely suggested :)

What were you driving, 14eraddict? I'm thinking of heading that way this weekend.

I am driving rav 4 w/snow tires. i have been advised to not drive road--sounds like road is snow covered, and snowshoes are likely need from the start. My group will not be going for summit, just a good workout road to 13k, maybe, time and weather will dictate our efforts
