FATE brand outerwear?

Postby Steve Climber » Sun Dec 16, 2012 12:59 pm

Anyone have any experience with this brand? At the factory store (Miller International) in Denver and found what seems to be a reasonable shell for technical / ski mountaineering. 200 regular price (sale for 100) seems like it might not be spectacular quality...but I don't want to be snobbish based solely on price...thoughts from anyone who has owned or owns gear from them? I can't find anything on my phone about it.

Never heard of it and cant really find anything online about the brand. IMO- pass it up and get a go-lite jacket for $100.
everest gear always has good sales on MHW stuff.

Kinda what I was figuring on...I have a friend that is a corporate buyer for Columbia, so I can get employee pricing for MHW, Montrail, Sorel, and Columbia. Even with that discount, MHW is still pricey. BUT...it works, so I will stick to it.

Not your usual take on outerwear but I always applaud a company for taking risks!
