Not sure but he did say it was Ted and Christy Mahon so my guess is it's probably local, or at least in the U.S.; not as time-consuming as the 7 summits. I'm anxious to hear what it is too!

You're right, I forgot he mentioned that. Maybe ski the centennial 13ers? Or BC/Denali?

I doubt it'd be just the Mahons for a 13ers project, and he skied all over Denali 5 years ago (with ten consecutive days of perfect weather).

Glad I had a conference in Denver and I was able to go.

10 days of good Denali weather? He really is freakishly lucky!
Maybe he'll go after some huge peaks in BC?

I remember that wonderful June 2007 on Denali. Great weather for the most part. As we were descending from the summit down Denali Pass, I remember seeing Chris & folks skiing Black Rock Peak. It was a pretty cool sight.

He better hurry up on that centennials project if he wants to be first. Rumor has it there is another candidate.

What I respect about Chris is that he has been able to create a decent living out of a sport that so many of us do for recreation. That isn't easy and like all things business, it requires compromises, sacrifice, and hard work. He has worked very hard for what he has gotten, more than most I think. Being a top outdoor athlete is not something I would steer a young person towards from a risk/reward and monetary standpoint, but he has made it work, well.

I was browsing aimlessly on Vimeo this morning and spotted this, thought some of you might be interested in it.

Thanks for posting, every time the movie is shown I'm out of town. Thanks for the great Christmas present!
