Hey Anna; if conditions continue, the Sawtooth appears to have snow and a little ice on most aspects; didn't look at the trail but if its anything like the Mt Evans trail from the Sawtooth it is easily navigatable. Talked with one climber who told us it took him 2 hours, and the approach to the ramp was his concern, with the ice... didn't sound like it was thick or everywhere, just strategic locations.

We never once donned spikes or even gaitors. The willows were low water and frozen - we walked a section after losing the trail for a bit.
