Calling people less skilled than you "gapers". Reminds me of that old George Carlin skit, everyone who drives slower than you is an idiot, and everyone who drives faster a maniac.

Having two Imans and 2 Beans is quite a bit for this forum. It's too bad the Baron is not here.

I have heard rumors at a brewery that there will be a third Bean before much longer.

My grievance: Bean 2 hasn't been posting much lately. He was a great resource to fill in when I was busy.

But necessary for a 3-bean casserole.

The way the news stations cover minor snow fall in Denver like we are living in the southeast. We don't need the cheesey shot of a reporter throwing snow when there is only 2 inches of it on the ground or the reporters stationed all over the area.

Are you two Beans breeding? That's probably more than I wanted to know about.

A baby bean in who's oven?

Wow. The horror...the horror.

1. The absurd "lanes open: lanes in existence" ratio at any grocery store.

2. The ridiculous accuracy of the sun - from 93 million miles, that thing can perfectly hit my eyes through the 3 inch space between my visor and my rear-view mirror.

Gaper has nothing to do with less skilled.

In essence, calling someone a gaper is the airing of a grievance. It's so much better than calling someone a d-bag, a-hole or cuntee (yes, I spelled it correctly and if you pronounce it that way more folks will laugh when you use it). You can say gaper anywhere, anytime and you can get away with it. Most girls hate the D and C words even if you add the double ee to the C word. You will get NO evil glares if you use the word "GAPER" at Thanksgiving dinner because the word is female, kid and grand-parent friendly. Most corporate HR's don't even have a "direct" policy on gapers so it's still politically correct to use at the office.

Try it... call the next driver who cuts you off a "GAPER" and the folks in your car will laugh and not accuse you of road rage or being politically incorrect.

Gaper = one of the best ways to air a grievance. So much fun to call out a GAPER! It should be the STANDARD on this site.

Many Miles to Go (Blog)

“There are two kinds of climbers: those who climb because their heart sings when they’re in the mountains, and all the rest.” - Alex Lowe

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper
