Looks like someone turned off the (high)light -- party is over.
Next up is Off Route, which is probably what would happen in most night climbs anyway.

But first, to expand on the snowflake icon......
I think there should be a 'twinkling shiny snowflake' that spins. These would be given Only after the winter ascent has been deemed worthy by Gladbach or Nolan or someone of their modest stature.

I'll work on that icon, papi.

Kinda. You posted in the 14er Updates thread, which automatically highlights the topic. The Supreme Being or his minions have corrected this accidental attention grabbing ploy.

I'll have to take advantage of this in the future, until the SB corrects this flaw...

Yes please! I'll take a "shaking hand" for my Mount Massive ascent. #-o

Wait, what?!?!?! No! I have been secretly working on this list with nearly every peak I hike! Hell I did Sneffles after drinking skittles flavored s**t and the better part of a case of beer and who knows what else, and trying my damnedest to put away a fifth of Scotch with Bill for his finisher BEFORE the climb were two of the more fun ones. I think I have a hiking problem that interferes with my drinking...

I will create a very special icon for you, Evil Queen.

A little creative latitude if you will. Your patience will be rewarded.

Whatever you do, don't ask about rappelling the Longs Peak diamond. They tried phuckering me up pretty good too, even calling me a troll even though most of my forum activity is in the Climbing Connection threads, where I would troll around pretending to look for partners. :-s
Tough crowd, the one's on here. But weird, not so cutthroat on the trails.

Ehh, it's an internet forum, what can ya' expect?

That'd be kinda cool to have night hiking icon. A possible upside to having that is dispersing the summer crowds throughout all hours of the day and night, alleviating day-time traffic jams.

oh my. No comment on Quote #1

For #2 - are you implying that an icon on this site would significantly influence the amount of people hiking in the night vs the day over the summer??

I am doing a "night hike" tonight - but not by choice - that's what happens when you have a 9-5er :(
