Anything tomorrow - Sunday 10/21

Postby CO Native » Sat Oct 20, 2012 8:54 am

I had plans to hike tomorrow but they fell through. Anyone in the Colorado Springs/Woodland Park area going out that wants a partner or would be willing to let me tag along? I can drive, I have a Jeep Liberty. Not really picky about what we climb, I just want get out in the mountains.

Sent you a PM about E/W Buffalo Peaks.

Okay, I don't know if it's sending - sitting in my Outbox, not the Sent folder... Several of us are hiking E/W Buffalo Peaks from the FR431 TH area south of Fairplay - looking for probably an 8:00 start (leaving Denver 6:30ish).

Hey CO Native,

Three of us are leaving Denver at 3:30 for the Stewart Creek TH. One is hiking Baldy Alto, two are hiking San Luis. I know it's not the Springs area, but you're more than welcome to join if you care to. We could meet in South Park or Salida and carpool the rest of the way. I'm in an Outback, so plenty of room for one more.

I was thinking of Oxford and/or Missouri tomorrow, but I am open to other options. I live in Pueblo West.

Anyone up for Mt Oklahoma tomorrow?

I am also throwing around the idea of staying close and doing a nice, low scramble.

I have always wanted to do the Buffalo Peaks but have never managed to get them done. I think I'll join up with that group. Thanks for the invite. Can we meet at the 285/CR 431 Intersection?

Sawatch 14er? Re: Anything tomorrow - Sunday 10/21

Postby Steep » Sat Oct 20, 2012 8:47 pm

My trip plans for tomorrow just fell through a few minutes ago. Is anyone doing any Sawatch 14ers tomorrow morning? If so, and you don't mind another person, please send a PM to me. Thanks.
