Nice Kiefer!!! Any chance you or anyone else saw Manson and Zombie in concert here last night? I heard it was awesome!

Thanks to whoever posted the Rusted Root a few pages back. Hadn't listened to them since college.. but I dug out those 2 albums from the mid-90s and it was great hiking music!

Anybody into Hot Chip? That's got to be my favorite band right now. A little gay, but good stuff!

It's OCTOBER now, right?

Cover-wise, I think Marilyn Manson did better job with This is Halloween, though this version deserves a nod too as it probably gave the driver at 3:38 "chili shorts."

But coupling stop-animation with horror-punk legends the Misfits is also a win. Too bad there isn't a HQ version. And why can't I have neighbors like this?
Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.

My favorite song for this time of year! :-D

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."
~Nelson Mandela

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."
~Steve Jobs

Wow. After wondering what the hell this thread is all about for months, I got bored tonight and strolled on in. So, I didn't even get past the 66th (and final) page yet, but Brian, that Beck tune Whiskey Can Can is the SH*T! Man I'm glad I stopped by! I'll have to meander about for a bit and see what the rest of the fuss is about, but thanks for that tune...it's going in my favorites.

Throwing the bone for the dog I see two passing lights
Well, I wonder where that driver's bound
Is there someone, somewhere, someway out there that I've not found"

A couple toe-tappers...

The second could probably be retitled "False Summits."
