I was going to suggest the James Peak group, but see you've already been there.

+1 on the group from Herman/Watrous Gulch, a very cool place.

don't forget the Citadel. I had a blast climbing that badboy a few weeks ago. However, it might be a stretch to call it Class 3. My partner and I found ourselves in some awesome moves going up and down.

Thank you all. Looks like I have plenty to keep me busy before the deep snow falls. Citadel might be beyond my comfort level solo...but maybe if I can talk a partner into calling in sick, that might work too. :)

Have a great weekend...and for those of you trying to track down the gurlz hike, good luck! :)

Keep me in mind for a partner, Valerie. I might not be able to help you out with a "quickie" though.... :)

Antora/Aetna perhaps ??

Antora and Aetna are a little further than 2 hours from C springs but if you are willing to do that drive, check out Hunts Peaks/Bushnell. Bushnell does have mild class 3 at the top.

I rather enjoyed these peaks. Did them from the west side but I'm almost certain theres a way in from the east (like near Howard, CO). In fact, pretty sure I remember a TR where someone did that.

Don't forget about Little Pikes!!! I need that little guy!!

This one meets your criteria as long as the road is open.
