I think anyone heading to the San Juans this weekend for a little leaf viewing should have good luck (sorry Gosman). Lots of new snow on the peaks and colors still in good shape. This was from today, 9/27, near Ridgway.

In Telluride this am. Tons of yellows and also patches of green. Not a lot of bare trees. Looking good for the weekend.

I am trying to decide whether or not I should go to the Tetons this weekend or to the San Juans this weekend for the best pictures. What do you think?

How is the Dallas divide area and the Ridgway area as far as colors? And any advice on the smoke in the Tetons?

Lower down on the east side, just getting started. Haven't seen higher up or the west side yet.

Anyone know how the Sangres are coming along? Thinking about heading down in the next few days. Thanks.

I was at Kenosha pass today, don't go there. It is a week too late... ](*,)
