Craig - a sincere thank you so much for getting the camp site all figured out. I really enjoyed finally meeting you and talking with you.

Keith - a huge thanks to you as well for organizing it. And, as always, so nice to see and talk with you too!

Who was the gorilla already?! The fire-blower was legit!

The monkey was real, Caroline, and disappeared back into the jungle once the call of the bagpipes was over. He's probably hanging out with some of the region's yeti population.

First of all, yetis are just lost Scotsmen. There is a strong relationship between gorillas and Scotsmen. When playing the pipes in a forested area it is not uncommon for one or even a few gorillas show up.

Anyone have any more photos of the Fire Breather...along with the Piper? Did anyone get a photo of the Yeti? Would love to see more shots from Saturday night in general. If you have, please post!

I'm not sure about this, but the gorilla might have been Brandon (can't recall his screen name)? Maybe he can stop by here and confirm or deny that rumor. I thought he might have run off with our bag-piping friend around the time that the show got started. Laxcountrypiper, perhaps you can confirm or deny my suspicion?

The mystery gorilla may prove to be a secret that is never revealed! It happened almost like a big foot sighting: "Hey, there's a gorilla!" ... "What? Where? I don't see one!"

Nevertheless, I suspect we haven't seen the last of the 14'er Gathering Gorilla!

They didn't turn out well, but I snapped these quickly on my iPhone...

Haha! I'm not one who drinks, but that strawberry I had...was an illicitly potent piece of food!

I posted up TR's from my two days of hiking the nearby 13ers. Some great scenery up there with some great company both days!
