Holy Cross

Has anyone done the Halo Ridge route recently? Is there snow in the cross?

I did Halo Ridge on 9/14 with no snow.
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker

If your looking for a picture view of the cross with snow in it, you will probably have to wait until late May or Early June. Depending on when the road opens. Camping at notch mountain is a challenge due to the lack of water. during that time of the year, there should still be snow for melting, but later in the year......
