Whew, makes me tired. Best of luck John. Incredible attempt no matter how it finishes. Best of luck coming from my direction.

Awesome, best wishes on the record attempt John! Many of us will be watching. Looks to be a very wet day today in the San Juans, hope that doesn't slow you down too much.

What a stud! I checked out his spot tracker so far and he's making really good time. One thing that caught my eye is he basically descended Sunlight and ran over to the Eolus gulley in 8 minutes. I hope things go really well for him, looking forward to tracking his progress.

I'm proud to call Homie one of my best friends and think he has a solid shot at breaking this record. He has really put in the work, put together a top notch support team, done the research, covered all of the logistics, route planning/recon and is as fit as I have ever seen him. Let's hope the mountain gods cooperate for him.

Just read on his blog that he started as planned at 5:15am and completed Sunlight and Windom by 7:15am.

Go Homie!!!

I am so psyched to watch this unfold. This is better than the Olympics!
