Congrats to Doug Hatfield-Centennial Finisher!

Post by Kevin Baker »

Congrats to Doug Hatfield who over the weekend finish CO's highest 100 on Teakettle. I noticed he was stuck on 99 for a long time. Way to go, Doug! What was your favorite peak and most epic adventure of the pursuit of this list? =D>

Doug's had a *huge* summer... last month alone, he did 15 state highpoints, including Katahdin, Granite, and Borah! He also snagged a bunch of National Park Highpoints and other peaks.

And what a great way to kick off August, Doug! I still remember your first trad lead, on Turret Dome, on my birthday - you sure are moving up fast. May be hitting you up for a lead on some alpine ascents in the next year...

CONGRATULATIONS... now tell us all about it. You can only squeeze so much into a text message :D

Doug led the summit block like a pro, one smooth climbing MacDaddy!

To celebrate, we made him drink 100 ounces of beer (he substituted a few Jager shots in there...) and he fairly well terrorized Ouray in he aftermath. Photo evidence of both the climb and the subsequent celebration to be posted ASAP in an SP TR.

Way to go, Centennial Man!!! (ps - methinks you owe your lovely belayer a shot!)
