Pilot Peak, Wyoming

Post by lukePlumley »

Have any of you attempted Pilot Peak (and Index Peak), Wyoming? There is extremely limited info out there, and any advice or beta would be very helpful. THese are listed at 5.6 but descriptions are hard to come by.

Thanks,

Summitpost.com has good info for Pilot and other nearby peaks in the Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness. If you go, have a great time. Summit it or not, you are in a beautiful part of North America.

Like it or not, I am a slow driver. Putt ... putt ... putt ...
Good day.

Agreed! We climbed Washakie Needles and Francs Peak last August, and I can't wait to give Pilot a try this year. Awesome area!
