I'm in Estes Park right now, and we just drove out of RMNP through the Beaver Meadows gate. Considering they've already reopened it and the fact that we only saw smoke equivalent to a small bonfire, I think they've pretty much knocked that fire out already. This morning, we had to go up Hwy 34 (Fall River Rd.) to get into the park due to the fire.

Hoping for thunderstorms...Mount Ida?? Crazy man.
Ended up doing Thunder Lake, so that I wouldn't have to find a way to drive over the Divide.

I was at a makeshift refugee camp last night at the EP high school and was briefed by the chief of the fire department in Estes Park. The fire was contained but still burning around 7pm. 34 and 36 were closed for awhile but we had no trouble traveling this morning. Twenty one structures burned as of 7pm last night. It looks as if it's completely out now.
