Couloir off N. Maroon?

Postby telejb » Tue May 24, 2011 5:12 pm

Does anyone know the name of this couloir? Searched online but can't find anything. Maybe just missing something obvious though.

Bump.
- A mountain is not a checkbox to be ticked
- Alpinism and mountaineering are not restricted to 14,000 foot mountains
- Judgment and experience are the two most important pieces of gear you own
- Being honest to yourself and others about your abilities is a characteristic of experienced climbers
- Courage cannot be bought at REI or carried with you in your rucksack

This coulior was discussed briefly in 2009:

I don't think it has a name.

Don't do that couloir! That is an ugly dangerous place to be. I remember being right below it and, it's not really inviting. Rock fall, in such a narrow couloir would make you an easy target.
I do not reccommend trying this.

Is that photo from this year?
