Tough & little used trails?

Post by ivnabru »

I like mountains that aren't very well traveled. Trails aren't neccessary, although being away from private property is a plus.

Does anyone have any cool hikes within a couple hours of Denver that they like? Or even something you've heard about but never gotten around to researching?

Just did Cameron Cone by the Springs this weekend and it was great didn't see another person after I got away from the incline crowd. Lost Creek is a favorite area but I feel like I've seen a good portion of the wilderness nowadays so I'm looking for other areas that people don't seem to go to very often.

Check out Buffalo Peaks Wilderness. Some trails, not many people, really nice area.
