I didn't do it

Postby d_baker » Tue Apr 03, 2012 2:44 pm

I searched for a character of our fine forum, clicked on the profile, and this is what was on the top of the screen:

Bill, I swear, I didn't do it! I won't cyber stock again. I promise. But what the hell is it?

(I was only looking at Chi-Trans peak list, to try and find a peak we have in common that doesn't have a check mark. Hard to do.)

I didn't do it either.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple hours ago. Don't recall whose profile I was looking at - perhaps it was my own. I kinda blew it off as a glitch on my end but given what happened to Darin, I guess it was more than that.

Edit - I just checked Darin's profile and the same thing happened. Then I clicked on my own and it was OK.

Ugh. Somehow the web hosting company reset a bunch of the server settings. I'm looking into it...

Darin, I often have this problem w/ CT's peak list. Copy both his and your lists to excel and do a vlookup against the 2. Much easier that way.

Sounds like they have fine change management proceedures at the hosting company.

I don't know what the hell they were doing. I do server management and they just host the box and do OS upgrades, etc. Maybe they updated some software that forced the changes.

Trying to track down the reason
