Trip Report Problems

Postby Derek » Mon Feb 13, 2012 5:45 pm

I hate to start a new thread for this issue, but I'm thinking it probably got overlooked because I posted it to the end of an old thread....

Anyway:
I am trying to post a trip report, but because it is an "Other" peak (meaning I choose other, and enter the peak name and elevation) it will not add. Same story if I try to edit an old report that is for an "Other" peak. If it is for multiple peaks and one of them is not an "Other" (13er or 14er) then it works fine. It appears to be only for trip reports that contain ONLY "Other" peaks.

When I hit save and activate, or when I click edit on a previous TR, this is the error I get. I have tried over the past couple days and on different browsers, same error.

Error - Could not access the PEAKS table.
Script Terminated - report not changed.

Thanks!

This happens to me a lot too.
Seems like the times that I need a mountain the most are the times that I can not get to them.

Your username should show up in the "like" balloon the next time the page is refreshed...

Just worked for me. :-"
As if none of us have ever come back with a cool, quasi-epic story instead of being victim to tragic rockfall, a fatal stumble, a heart attack, an embolism, a lightning strike, a bear attack, collapsing cornice, some psycho with an axe, a falling tree, carbon monoxide, even falling asleep at the wheel getting to a mountain. If you can't accept the fact that sometimes "s**t happens", then you live with the illusion that your epic genius and profound wilderness intelligence has put you in total and complete control of yourself, your partners, and the mountain. How mystified you'll be when "s**t happens" to you! - FM

I see you "liked" the "Winter Contemplation: Wetterhorn and Uncompahgre " report. Is that the one you just tried? If so, your username is in the pop-up.

IE will do that to me sometimes where I can't "like" anything. Using Chrome I've never had the same problem. DYBG!

I liked that one this morning and then (two hours later probably) I was reading Natalie's report and when I tried to like it did not work...
