Thanks for posting! I will be attempting the Italian route on the Matterhorn this summer.

I thought the Matterhorn was a joke. It's basically just a big pile of dirt and bad rock. It only took us 17 hours round trip from the Hut. I wish I didn't pay $2,000 to that Swiss guide who basically dragged me up the thing.
