Film festival avy fundraiser

Postby Carl » Wed Jan 25, 2012 3:50 pm

A timely fundraiser for avalanche education. All proceeds benefit Friends of CAIC and Friends of Berthoud Pass. Lots of gear to give away, drink specials, & the best clips from a bunch of different films. See you tomorrow at the Oriental Theater.

Show starts at 8pm, which means it will actually start shortly thereafter. We'll have an intermission to give folks another chance to buy raffle tickets for skis (Armada, Faction, and La Sportiva), snowboard (Never Summer), Spark bindings, BCA avy gear, Silverton tickets, etc. Then we'll do the raffle at the end. So probably 10:30ish by the time we wrap up. That is what time I told my wife, aka raffle ticket saleswoman, when she was deciding whether to carpool with me today.

Doors open at 7. Come early and enjoy some Upslope.
