Timestamps in forum

Postby TheOtherIndian » Thu Jan 05, 2012 5:53 pm

Hi Bill,

Just a minor issue I am facing, not a big deal. I've set the timezone in Board preferences to MST (UTC-7) and the small digital clock in the home page shows me the right time. However, I see that timestamp shown in the forum for posts is one hour ahead.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't believe the PHBBB settings allow for DST settings....

The forum software leaves DST settings up to the user, so just turn off "Summer Time/DST is in effect:" and all will be well.

The setting can be found in the User Control Panel, Board Preferences, just under the time zone setting.
Only SNOW will end the madness

Ah, thanks. Should've noticed it in the first place before posting here #-o
