Technology isn't the problem--it's the choice to actually do this kind of thing
trench poachers that in turn brag about their times and claim to be alpinists
This kind of thing is beyond lame. "I'm faster than you noobs, so go ahead. I'll catch up!"
After reading a spectacular trip report about a difficult or rewarding day, some people insist on making comments that add nothing to the discussion besides letting everyone else know that they've been there/done that already. "Yeah, well when we were up there, it was so crazy! You're lucky to have had such stellar conditions."
People who start a thread just to announce that they are about to post a TR.
Also, what's with people whose whole TR is hosted somewhere else, especially on their own site? I never read reports that consist of a couple pics and a link elsewhere.
Photoshop geeks who manipulate their pictures so much that "photography" isn't really the proper term any more. It may be "art," but skill with a camera and a good eye have less to do with Disneyland images of 14ers than hours spent clicking a mouse then looking at yourself in the mirror when people praise this crap.
I guess I just have plenty of grievances with narcissists.

Along these lines, I can't stand all those outlaw motorists. Failing to come to complete stops at stop signs, not stopping at the stop bars at lights, speeding, failing to signal. Have you spent much time riding around a city? Try it for a year and tell me it's practical to come to a complete stop at every sign. The law is broken.
I bike just about everywhere (mountains excepted), don't come to a complete stop at most stop signs, yet on a daily basis a car will pass me through a stop sign, its slowest speed still faster than I'm rolling through at. Crack down on the motorists.

What? You don't like your retinas burned by oversaturated HDR(esque) photos?
What are you, a narcissist?
