Teton climbing guide book?

Hey all, I'm looking for a good climbing guide to the Tetons. I've look at several on Amazon but without opening them I don't have any idea what the content is like. Can anybody lend a hand?

Definitely go with "A Climber's Guide to the Teton Range" by Leigh Ortenburger and Reynold Jackson. It's by far the most comprehensive. Excellent book.

There's also a Rossiter guide and it may complement the Ortenburger (I think Ortenburger is by far the most comprehensive, while Rossiter's topos may be easier to follow). FWIW, I loaned my disk of Teton Rock Climbs to (I think?) Carl D, so see if you can borrow that as well. Really good photos of each step of the popular climbs; I have a pretty visual memory so photos help me with routefinding better than text.

O crap. You never got that back? I thought I gave it to Sean with the book to give to you. I'll look into it and shoot you an email. Although I do recall I couldn't get the pics to load from the cd, just the text (which was useful).

Hmm...maybe? I thought Sean said you still had it, maybe I'm confused on that. No biggie, I have it loaded onto a drive so I can still access it. Don't sweat it if you/Sean can't find it.

John: If we can't find it and you're ever in Denver feel free to swing by my place and look over the photos. Maybe I can print them off (I've never tried). Good luck with your climb, be safe!

Hey thanks Tom but I just ordered the Leigh Ortenburger and Reynold Jackson book online, I love to support the soon to be lost art of the written word. :)

I'm looking for the Petzoldt Ridge, does anyone have any experience with that route?

No experience, but I vaguely recall Mark Nelson over on mountainproject may have climbed it. If so maybe send him a pm? He's a good guy, I've climbed with him a couple of times years ago.
