Nice photos Kane.

I find the difference in style between you and Jody very interesting. You share common subjects but interpret them in a different way.

Jody makes images that are warm and welcoming with pleasing pastel tones and friendly light - beauty before strength. Your work Kane appears more visceral, more dangerous, more foreboding – strength before beauty (though they are beautiful photos). Jody’s images invite me to hang around and count the roses for a while, whereas your work reminds me not to linger for too long. And watch my step. The abyss can swallow a person whole.

You and Jody are two of the best mountain photographers posting to 14ers.com. Thank you for sharing your spectacular images.

And Kane, thanks for leaving the EXIF data embedded in your images.
