I didn't see you tonight, Carl, but wanted to give a shout out to FOBP after attending tonight's class at Casselman's.
Anyone who has interest in hitting the backcountry, but isn't going to a level one class would do well to attend one of these.
The helmet cam burial makes its point, believe me.
Thanks very much for some essential info. See you in February!

Carl/FOBP,
When does the sign-up begin for the field days? How does that process work?

Our last two classroom sessions are tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight at Casselman's and tomorrow night at the Oriental. If you make it out tonight, come say hello. Great to see so many folks from 14ers.com at our events the last couple months!

Re: Friends of Berthoud Pass
Just got back from the on-snow session today. What a great class! I'd taken an Avy 1 class before this, and I'd say we went over just as much useful info between the 3 hour classroom session and today's field day...in half the time, and for free! Plus, the groups were smaller today, and two instructors in most groups, which made it a lot easier to ask questions and enjoy your time on the hill. Thank you FOBP!
