Someone posted a good one on Wunderground that was shot last night in FL. A sandwich, but the best moon so far.

Great pictures everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it. It was quite cloudy here in Omaha.

I suspect that palm trees and tropical temperatures didn't hurt the experience either
Someone took a pictire of her watching the sunset and then the eclipse. Looks rough.

I'm so jealous. Everything west of the CD is rain/snow soaked and covered in clouds. Never go to Grand Junction if you want to see an eclipse. We have had cloudy conditions for the last 3 to 4 eclipses. Ridiculous.

Sorry but you'll get no sympathy from me. We've had a whole 2 inches of snow so far this year. I'll take a white Christmas over a red moon.

Okay, I've got to throw mine in, too. Took it with a 600mm lens, ISO 640, .6 sec exposure on a tripod.

No sympathy?! We haven't had more than a 1/4" of snow so far this fall and cloud cover everyday since Thanksgiving (doesn't count the very top of the Grand Mesa), so we won't have either a red moon or a white Christmas.

When I first saw it this a.m., I thought I needed to dust my computer screen.
Not only did I get to see the eclipse thanks to you photographers out there, but I now have a clean computer screen, too!
53 peaks, the pic has a nice Impressionist era feel!

Thanks guys! I was going for that "artsy" style. Can you believe one of my sisters is a professional photographer and the other is a graphic artist who designs book covers for Baker Books? Seems like they would have taught me something over the years.

These pictures are great! Thanks! I missed it because of clouds. And snow. LOTS of very deep snow. ( )
