Simple answer: Lie

You might find this hard to believe, but that is something I NEVER do. Not even the occasional, "white lie".

Love it!!!!! :D

I've never been diagnosed as dyslexic, but I am quite sure I am; every time I glance at this thread, I see "Huge Pornography Competition!!!..." lol
We did not think of the great open plains, the beautiful rolling hills, and winding streams... as "wild". Only to the white man was nature a "wilderness".

The guy is 17 and has a great eye for photography. Still, it's funny how it's been said 3 times or so that all he did was sharpen and crop the picture, and yet people are debating how much post-processing he did to the photo. I guess it's hard to believe someone you don't know?

I could be wrong, but don't most (all) cameras do a bunch of post-processing unless you shoot the image in RAW? To compensate for all sorts of stuff like warping from the lense?

If a photo competition states no post processing it is talking about out of camera editing. What the camera does to capture the picture is "the shot".

No one is debating whether it is a good picture or if the kid has skills.

A question: The sky was really that kind of weird blue-green? I'm in the midwest and during out bad storms the sky goes an ugly, weird sick green - not that color. Then again, we don't have super cells. Just checking because I've never seen that color,I don't think.

Thanks, nice shot!

Voted 4 ya!

Regarding this whole PP debate, I don't a have a "trained eye" for post processing, but I think the lighting is believable. I live in flat land and on overcast days (which there are many) for about 10 minutes or so while the sun comes up or down and is below the overcast skies the sun lights up the ground, but the clouds above are dark. With flat ground the horizontal lighting yields no shadows. There is an electrical tower, but the steel members on it are very slender and the shadow would disappear in dispersed lighting (dispersed lighted evidenced to the left of the leading edge of the storm cloud).

Good shot, let us know how you do. Good luck.

BTW, would be curious to see a shot of the hail damage!!!
