Recent Topics+Reports Window (new)

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Thu Oct 07, 2010 4:54 pm

For those interested... On the 14ers.com home page, click the Image icon at the top of the "Recent Forum Topics" to open a separate window for viewing recent forum topics. Some of you might find the new window, which uses frames, easier than navigating back-and-forth from the home page.

Let me know what you think.

I think you should take it just one step further and just make it auto-respond based on what we are thinking. It might backfire though, you might get a bunch of posts saying "this site is so cool."

That's what I'm talkin' about!

I spend most of my time reading the recent forum topics, and now this new window doubles the list view. Awesome!

Thanks Bill.

The elections are now less than 4 weeks away... can we get Bill on the ballot? \:D/
We did not think of the great open plains, the beautiful rolling hills, and winding streams... as "wild". Only to the white man was nature a "wilderness".

Ha! Sorry, I'm retired and after 11 years, I'm not sure I could function in a "working" environment.

Ha! Sorry, I'm retired and after 11 years, I'm not sure I could function in a "working" environment.

This functionality is actually pretty radical. I'm really diggin it.

Alright Bill, you aren't exactly old. What in the heck did you do to retire before 40 (and how can I get some of that)?

With 3 other partners, I started an Electronic Commerce/Internet company in the early 90s and then got out before the bubble burst. Nothing spectacular but I think I can at least get my kids through college. :)

I'd say you made the right choice. Congratulations!

Thanks again for the sweet update. During winter I spend most of my time grooming the Recent Topics so your timing couldn't be better.
