Log in help w/o logging in

Postby SES_17 » Wed Oct 06, 2010 8:33 am

Is there any way to contact someone regarding log in problems without having to log in? I just spent all day yesterday and half of this morning trying to register. I could never get an activation code sent to my yahoo email even after requesting it twice. I had to use my work email to get this going. The frustrating thing is that every link that I went to for help logging in, took me to a log in page.

Did you check your spam folder in the personal email account?

I checked contiually. I also tried re-creating the account thinking there was a typo in the email address. Got a message saying email address was already taken.
Maybe something with Yahoo! The activation came right away through my work email.

As usual, I opened my mouth too soon, then found the solution. Yahoo! has an option to empty spam folder immediately, so I was never able to see it when it went into that folder.
Sorry for the whine.

Sorry about having to log in to send me an email... I had to do it this way because I was getting thousands (literally) of emails and many of them could have been posted as questions in the forum. I'll change that admin email form to include a subtle message that includes my email address for those who can't log in.

You can also use Facebook to reach me or just post something in the "14ers.com on Facebook" group which I check regularly.
