What?!? 14ers.com was down?

You may have noticed that 14ers.com was unavailable for a while on Monday evening. There was a hardware problem but WifeOfBill coordinated the fix while I was at the TOOL concert at Red Rocks!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

How was Tool? Did They do Sober?
I have tickets to see them on 7-1, here in town.
Saw them 2 years ago, and they didn't do sober. Hope they do this time. :YY

while I was at the TOOL concert at Red Rocks!

Damn, how was the show? I tried to get tickets, but 100$ and only for tonight. I do still have a wine bottle signed by Maynard from Whole Foods, so I got that goin for me, which is nice.

Concerts are getting too expsensive these days. It was either the Tool show or a train ticket to Ruby Basin, I took the latter....

Tool was awesome! Way too short though, maybe 95 minutes? They played 10 songs: 1 from Undertow, 4 from Aenima, 3 from Lateralus, and 2 from 10000 days. A few strange interludes, that's about it. No new material.

I won't ruin it by telling the exact setlist though, because I know they're playing Red Rocks again.

Where were you sitting Bill? I was in row 36.

I was in row 15.
Great show but pretty short.

Spoiler alert! Here's the set list - same as previous shows

schism and vicarious suck ... maybe just so overplayed on the radio that i got sick of them back in my "kbpi listening-to days". They could easily replace those with something good like sober, hooker with a penis, jimmy, or H

I could use some more vicarious in my life. Maybe I can put a request in to replace this week's Sarah Mclachlan songs for unedited Lateralus or 10,000 days hits at the station. Not quite the format, but worth a shot. A Lateralus/Aenema encore sounds pretty angry and badass.

Even tho the OP topic has drifted a little, I feel obligated to give a Tool concert report.
It was awesome. Not AWESOME, but still awesome. :YY
Didn't do Sober, but still not dissapointed.
I especially enjoyed the video presentation.
Kinda reminds me of a movie from the 80's: Eraserhead. Weird f-in movie.
For sound quality, and overall presentation, I'll give them a A-

The warm-up "band" kinda sucked tho.
