RMNP
Has anyone been hiking in RMNP?? Looking to climb Flat Top and Hallet's this wkend. Need snowshoes or will micro-spikes be sufficient?

As for trail conditions, I'd imagine micro spikes would be sufficient, depending on how early you start. My buddy and I were up around Flattop/Notchtop a basin over and didn't feel that flotation would've been essential had we not been skiing that day. Hardpacked in the morning, not too soft in the afternoon below treeline. Flattop and Hallet route above treeline was dry for the most part.
