Hey harmful,
I am so interested, but.... I'm stuck in CO(not that it's a bad thing). Now I feel a bit homesick, in a good way!

Have a great time, and I hope the weathers great!

Hope you have a great trip. I will be on my way to Colorado. I haven't hiked Mt. Mansfield but did hike Mt. Abe earlier this summer, preparing for the Rockies as best as possible. Enjoy!!

Thanks Folks.

It was a nice but slow ascension up the Sunset Ridge trail from Underhill State Park.

My buddy had spent the previous evening in the beer tent at the Champlain Valley fair so it was a bit too slow for me. Good for the wife I suppose.

Had to take the Long Trail North to get up to the Chin. No visibility due to clouds...... :x Clouds broke once we reached the Halfway trail past the Nose........ :(

Followed the Long trail south accross the face. The Stowe side was extremely busy due to the installation of an HD antenna on the Forehead by helicopter.

Decided to abandon plans of coming down the Maple trail and went down Halfway Trail. Certainly NOT well worn. But definitely gave us a few laughs.

A decent 7 hour trek topped off with some Joe's Snack Bar!

I'm a transplanted Vermonter (live in CO) so its good to get back to my roots.
