New - "Trailhead Status" page

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Sat Apr 30, 2005 12:00 pm

This new page has been in the works since January. I almost had it all completed 2 months ago but other projects took over... It allows everyone to view trailhead status information that is added by you - forum users. If you have recent trailhead condition information, use the "Update a Trailhead" button located on the bottom of the trailheads page to add the info. Only registered 14ers.com forum users can add information to the table - the page will prompt for your forum username and password.

Trailhead Status and Update Page

The link can also be found on the 14ers.com home, the main 14ers peak list page, the main routes page, and soon on each route page. I will not be removing the "Trailhead Info" section of the forum, but if you have recent trailhead conditions you want to post, please enter it into the new page instead of just a forum thread.

Bill-

On the trailhead status pages, the pages that show the posts about the status of the trailheads have 2 buttons at the bottom of them. After each button, the phrase has the word "olny" and should be changed to "only." Not sure if you can change that, but just thought I'd point it out.

Climbing partner: "Is this uphill the whole way?"
Kojones: "No, only half the hike is uphill."

Thanks Bill, the best site just got better!
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
