30 pics on trip reports

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:45 am

I just changed the maximum number of TRIP REPORT photo uploads from 25 to 30.
Max individual photo size is still 8megapixels.

Cool, I was wondering how I was going to post enough pictures for our Chigaco Basin trip this week. Thirty should be enough for any one. =D>

FWIW, one of the trip reports I wrote had 33 photos, but these are just links to my photos in webshots, therefore take up no memory to speak of on this web site's server(s). I had to use this method since my photos are 10 Mpixels. It appears using links one could have unlimited number of photos, only risk being boring the reader to tears.

I will repeat this is a fantastic web site and thanks to all those for their efforts putting it together & maintaining it.

Yes, you can link to an "unlimited" number of external photos.

You can upload any photos to 14ers.com as long as they are resized down to 8MP or smaller. If that's a hassle, then linking to a photo site is the other option.
