Pyramid, Capitol, Conundrum...decent conditions?

Postby JTOlson26 » Tue Jun 16, 2009 6:40 pm

Which of this group has the least snow at this time? It seems like Capitol still has a lot but what about the other two? Or, if there are any of the other peaks right in this area that don't have too much snow, i would love to know! Thanks!

I was in the Bells this weekend, and tried to do Pyramid. There is still a good amount of sketchy snow up there. Decided to turn around on the 13k saddle because of time and amount of snow on the ridge. Here is a link to a pic I took from the saddle. Hope this helps...

Thanks a lot for the update and the picture. I think i will be postponing a trip to that area for now. I just don't have the right gear for all of the snow that is still up there.

Not completely "recent"...however, this is a trip report from June 7th on Capitol. Hope that helps.
