Miller time

Postby DaveP » Fri Nov 09, 2007 2:12 pm

I just pulled out my cold weather mummy bag and found that the sack I hang it in had several Miller moths inside. As a relatively new resident of Colorado, I haven't had to deal with the pleasure of the migration of these little bastards. Anyway, any recommendations on a deterrent to keep them away from the gear that I store in the garage? I am hesitant to use plain old mothballs due to the unpleasant aroma emitted by them.

Agree with g. I just put a cloth bag of cedar chips/wood/hangars in the closet and haven't had any problems.

Probably nowhere but in Boulder would one encounter strippers who spend there vacations trekking in Nepal.

Try gasoline and a torch! It is best to throw the bag in the middle of the street before igniting it. Saves on your grass and your house. You don't want to smoke your grass!
