Thanks Bill. The hover option would be a quick and cool feature, but not a big deal. I tried accessing SNOTEL this morning too and saw that they're down. I'll be interested in seeing your other update once they're running.

Hey Bill, how hard would it be to make an option to break the 13ers down to cents, bi-cents, tri-cents, etc..?

I'll take a look when I start the 13ers.com mods. Good idea.

Also, I modified the map dropdown box to include "More..." at the bottom, where I've placed overlays which may be used a bit less. Oh, and I added current Snow Depth:

To go along with the additional breakdown of 13ers, if it could be done with individual ranges selected too would be cool too. For instance, right now your overlay of Ranges highlights all of the ranges. What I'm suggesting is an option to be able to select a particular range, and then be able to choose which group of 13ers (cents, bi-cents, etc.) can be found in that range.

But even without these suggested additions, your map page is sweet! Thanks!

For those of you who'd like to see topo maps with metric measurements, I added the "EsriTopo" base layer to the map pages.

More map changes!

I placed peaks in a separate drop-down box and provided options for various 14er and 13er sub-lists. My next goal is to integrate the user checklist data to show check marks on the peaks climbed...

Bill, your name came up over Thanksgiving dinner here on the east coast. When my son explained what he actually does for a living, I thought you might be interested. He writes code for a relatively small company building open source highly customizable maps as an alternative to google maps.
A good third party overview can be found at www.digitaltrends.com.../roll your own maps or go to their home @ https://www.mapbox.com
They have an interesting terrain overlay where you can add the missing roads maybe not found on a google map. Thanks for everything you do.

MORE map changes!

If you have 14er and/or 13er checklists stored on 14ers.com, the peak markers will show up with or without check marks. Oh, and you have to be logged into the site for markers to show checks.

Bill, I love these additions - in particular being able to see the bicents that I have and haven't done, seeing the topos, and all the overlays.

Thank you!
