Free High-Resolution 14er Photos for Download

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Sat Sep 18, 2004 8:53 pm

I just added a new page to the site that has a table of large peak photos that are available for download. They are high-resolution photos that have been sized for various screen resolutions. The following resolutions (in pixels) are supported:
800x600 (Average size = 325kb)
1280x960 (Average size = 625kb)
1600x1200 (Average size = 970kb)

The photos are large, so I'll give this new page a few weeks to see how much drain it causes on the site. If it works out, I'll add more peaks to the list. Also, please remember that the photos are copyrighted. I'm providing this functionality to share the photos but they cannot be sold, given to others, or placed somewhere else on the Internet. I had to say it...

UPDATE 3/27/2005:

I just revised the Downloads Page to make it easier to use.

Also added new downloads for Quandary, Democrat, and Elbert...

Longs Peak Collage

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Fri Dec 02, 2005 2:46 pm

UPDATE 12/2/2005:

Just added a Longs Peak collage to the Downloads Page. It has a variety of photos including some that show features along the Keyhole Route.

If you have a widescreen format screen on your laptop or pc, this photo could be easily cropped in photo-editing software. In the future, I plan to add some widescreen formats to the Downloads page.
