There are a few more that haven't gone over yet. I'm gathering them up and I'll put them over all at once. That initial problem impacted several users and I'm just getting back to it today.

Ok, the conversion is finally complete. I just moved over the last 15. I checked the numbers against the old forum area and things look good.

FYI - there were a few entries that were just conversations within the forum TR area. They were removed.

Thanks Bill! I updated it with some additional photos, there is definitely a lot of potential with this new feature to create some really great Trip Reports! Thanks for setting this up.

I agree on the potential. With a bunch of formatting options, we will be able to really create nice TRs. Similiar to forum post formatting, I plan to add the following format options:
- Different font sizes
- Lists
- Colors
- and more Emoticons

Also, I will be adding a "Preview" button to the Add/Edit TR pages so they can be viewed before saving changes. That one will take a while to prepare.

Thanks!

The new Trip Report pages seem to have been well received. Many of you have gone back and added photos to past reports - looking good.

BDAVIS recently added some reports that show how easily we can now integrate photos into the text with nice formatting. Good stuff.

I posted a 13er trip report w/some photos attached. However, I can't see my photos anywhere except the edit view. Do I have to link to them in the text of the TR in order for people to see them? They also don't show up in my list of of photos on my profile.

You bet. To allow the desired placement of the photos in the report, just put [img]1[/img] tags around each photo number (1,2,3..) within the trip report. This will display the photos within the report.

Okay. Another thing - this is just my personal preference, but I'd rather see the peak list pulldown in alphabetical order instead of by elevation.

Hi Bill,

along the lines of Andy's question, would it be possible to add the 13ers to the pull downs for "other peaks" climbed in the 14er reports? I often combo 14ers with neighboring 13ers. Thanks!

Currently, the 14er and 13er TR data is purposely divided in case I add the 13er stuff to 13ers.com. So, I'll have to think about the possibility merging things so TR's can have both 13ers and 14ers.

Andy, for the list sorting: Maybe I'll add a radio button or something to allow the user to customize the sorting by ELEVATION or NAME.

Thanks!

Just made some major changes by merging the 14er and 13er trip report areas. This will provide more flexibility for creating TRs with a mix of 14er and 13er peaks.

I'm still working on the pages, so you might want to wait until after tomorrow if you were planning on posting a TR.
