Forum "Submit" Button = Preview?

Postby Kojones » Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:50 pm

Howdy,

I've noticed for a while now that about every 15 or 20 times I post to a thread, the "Submit" button actually acts more like the "Preview" button. Anybody else have the same observation and/or suggestions on fixing?

Thanks!

Is it doing this to tell you that there have been other posts made at the same time? That's the only behavior I've noticed...

If someone posts between the time you hit reply and the time you hit submit to make your post it takes you to a preview screen and shows you any of the new posts. It gives you the chance to make sure you have read all posts before posting yours. (Helps keep you from looking stupid, and prevents redundency on the fourm)

There is no possible way for me to look stupid, let alone submit something that is not worth everybody's time to read it even if it is redundant.

But alas... I guess I do share the forum with "others."

...but thanks for the info. Now I know what that's for and I might pay more attention to what it's showing me.
