Torreys - Dead Dog Route ADDED

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Thu Jun 19, 2008 8:31 pm

I just added the Dead Dog Couloir (snow climb) route description after a climb yesterday.

I'd move the arrows so they direct people to climb the left side. I noticed a lot less rockfall on the left side

Good point. I'll mention in the text that it may be safer to climb along the left side.

Thanks!

You call it D9 -- but Dawson actually uses it as an example of D13 ...

Granted, it's not that great a difference (45 degrees vs. ~50 degrees, in the verbal description), but it seems to me the top typically pushes 50, especially if you drop in straight from the summit.
