14ers.com STORE Changes

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Mon Jun 02, 2008 2:37 pm

In preparation for long-sleeve synthetic shirts, I've added some sub-menus to the store pages to allow for different styles or designs of a specific item. For example: Under cotton shirts, the two different designs are broken out into separate pages (via buttons) so they are easier to find.

Hey Bill, have you looked into getting nylon/polyester "water resistant" caps? I used to have a Timberland hat years ago that I wore on a few 14ers. They're lightweight and great when it drizzles/rains, and they dry out in no time. Just and idea.

I've thought of it but never spent much time on it. I'll look into it to see if I can find non-cotton caps that can be embroidered or screened.

How does the sizing run on your synthetic shirts? I wear (usually) a small in synthetic but medium in cotton. Would you say this is how your shirts run?
Growing older is inevitable, but getting old is not.

Bill, I just had to show you what the real climbers of Northern Wisconsin wear while participating in their favorite sport.  I'm bringing many of them out next summer.  They love the shirts.  :)

That sounds about right - the cotton ones do run a bit small. I almost had to go with an XL in cotton (I'm such a fat pig!) but the L synthetic fit me perfectly.

That's awesome!! I didn't even know that I mailed you that many shirts.
