14ERS.COM CAPS!

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Wed Dec 19, 2007 4:06 pm

Yes, I may have been talking about this for a while but now they're almost ready. I only have a few but should have more in a couple of weeks so I can activate the store page. 100% cotton pigment dyed, garment washed, low profile, six panel cap with sewn eyelets, leather strap, antique brass buckle and grommet. They will come in 3 different color combinations, each with the same front logo and "Gain the Summit" tagline on the back. To see another photo of the 3 blank caps, go to the 14ers.com Store page - just click on the caps link on the left.
Planned colors:
1) KHAKI/RUST
2) KHAKI/BURGUNDY
3) STONE/FOREST GREEN (the stone is simple gray)
...and possibly more versions down the road.

Here are some photos of the KHAKI/RUST and KHAKI/BURGUNDY caps:

I ironed one of my 14er.com patches onto a hat, but these look a bit more professionally done. I'm in for a couple! (Plus, that hat is kinda stinky now.)
It looks like the ridge is just right up there!

These are cool Bill, thanks !

And what a great way to cover up that "bed head" when we all roll out of our tents in the early morning hours..... my wild hair could scare the marmots away.

Got mine last week! Nice looking caps 4 sure! which peak will the cap make it's 1st ascent on?? hmmm

Shirt, cap... now for a pair of blue jeans, with the '14ers.com' logo on the rear leather patch-
and some 14er hikers to top everything off and complete the obsession -I mean collection~

You know you're a 14er geek when all your clothing says "14ers.com" :!:

Thanks Bill-
