Ouch!! Hope you heal up soon!
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal

I hope you're back on the rock soon. "Accidents in North American Mountaineering" would probably publish your story.

Wow!! You have some rather large testicles. In the future might I suggest lugging along a thin rope and some bail gear? I know climbing with a pack sucks but.... come on.

I am truly happy your are OK, some pretty incredible climbing. I don't think I could have down climbed that on my best day.

Glad to hear it all worked out ok, for the most part. At least you're able to tell the story!

Sounds like he has just a tad of experience with this sort of ballsy climbing.
