16yo Sarah, decides against Everest summit bid

Postby IHikeLikeAGirl » Wed May 18, 2011 8:20 am

Just saw this, this morning.

Would she have been the youngest female to summit? Nepalese or non-Nepalese?

15-year-old Nepalese Ming Kipa Sherpa summitted in 2003. She was the youngest until 13-year-old Jordan Romero broke her record in 2010. Both summitted from Tibet, since Nepal doesn't allow climbers under age 16.
