14 years ago, a 1535 ft. tower went down with 3 people on it in Cedar Hill Texas due to a gust of wind. I guess they had a wild ride the last few seconds of their lives.

Apparently, towers go down quite frequently.

Wow, what a list. It even includes two radio stations that I used to listen to regularly (WMBD in Illinois and KFI in Los Angeles).

2006 was the big winner, this was the year that tower climbing had the most deaths per 100,000 workers in the states.
