Good morning! Off to Humboldt!

Postby Kojones » Sun Jul 11, 2010 1:48 am

First climb in 2 years. Here's to early mornings! What I love about this hobby is all I had to buy was Clif bars and a map... everything else was sitting patiently in the gear storage room.

I'm jealous! Be safe and have fun. I'll look for a TR, we are considering Humboldt for an early Sept. trip.
Seems like the times that I need a mountain the most are the times that I can not get to them.

Where you been? We were just enjoying your 1000th post again last week or so...

Oooooooowwwwwwwww! Well, after 2 years of basically very little physical activity, Humboldt kicked my butt. 7-hour RT with 30 minutes of alone time at the summit I'll say is not too bad. But that darn road... thing never ends! TR coming.

That 1000th post was the mental block that helped keep me away. And you can believe I was looking all around me in the wooded areas. The funny thing is that I got really startled once... and it was a damn butterfly!
